Address Change Notifications
All F-1 and J-1 visa holders are required to report a new U.S. residential, mailing, or permanent foreign address within 10 days of any change. This form will allow you to submit those changes online, for your convenience. The ISO will then forward these changes to SEVIS, in compliance with U.S. government reporting requirements.
Please use this form as often as necessary to make sure that your U.S. address information is current. Even if your address is only temporary (due to an extended vacation, authorized off-campus internship, In Absentia, etc.), these changes must still be reported.
For New & Current Students: If you are making an update to your U.S. residential or mailing address, please use the appropriate online registration tool for your UR division.
Are you pursuing Post-Completion Employment? If you completed a UR academic program and are currently approved for F-1 or J-1 work permission, please use the appropriate link below to report your new address information.
Special Registration: Students who are subject to Special Registration must also complete Form AR-11 and submit it directly to USCIS. You will need to have your old & new addresses and the date & location of your last entry to the U.S. You may submit this information online at: https://egov.uscis.gov/crisgwi/go?action=coa.Terms.
This form will not update HRMS, GLACIER, or UR Bursar's Office (for billing). You must access these systems or contact the appropriate offices separately to make those address changes.
