Immigration Advising
The International Services Office (ISO) administers the University’s F-1, J-1, H-1B, O-1, and TN programs.
We are the official liaison with the US Department of State, foreign and American consulates, the US Department of Homeland Security, the Student and Exchange Visitor Information System (SEVIS), along with other organizations and government agencies.
We issue the relevant documentation for University-sponsored visa categories, petitions USCIS for sponsored nonimmigrant statuses, and advises on all immigration matters, including:
- Visa categories
- Permanent residence
- Changing your immigration status
- SEVIS and I-901 fee
- 212e home residency requirement
- Opportunities for visiting study or scholarship
- Incidental study for visitors to the US
